Tiled Roofs
Many people are of the opinion that a roof is a roof! As long as it
keeps
the water out it doesn't matter. It does, particularly on a cottage
style
property, a bungalow or any property where a large roof area is on view.
There are many styles of roof tiles on the market in many different
colours.
Depending on your financial position, you may well want the cheapest
option,
which is fine and in a lot of cases may well be the right tile for the
job.
However, we like to give our customers the option and are happy to
supply
different quotes.
Slate Roofs
Although not as varied as tiles, there are natural slates and man made
slates with different qualities. Again, we would like to give you the
option.
Flat Roofs
There are several different flat roofing systems on the market with
varied
life expectancies.
Roof Windows
We supply and fit Velux windows and light shafts.
Chimmney Stacks
We repoint/render chimmneys and remove redundant chimney stacks and
chimney
breats.
We also remove flue liners and fit chimmney pots.
Fascaia Boards and Soffits Boards
These are the roof like timbers that are fixed to the eaves of the roof.
They support the tiles and are the timbers that the guttering is fixed
to.
We can replace these with UPVC or tradional wood if preferred.
Guttering
We replace guttering with UPVC.
Loft conversions
We can undertake this service in conjunction with Heritage Loft
Conversions.
Opening up chimney stacks
Do you want the traditional glow of a coal or wood burning open fire. We can do this, by reopening your chimney breast, fitting chimney pots, sweeping your chimney, conducting a smoke test and fitting bird guards for you.
We would conduct a full service, removing chimney stacks and breast, removing any redundant gas appliances in conjunction with a Corgi registered engineer, and replastering walls and ceilings to complete the job
